Yesterday was such a fun day...shopped till i could not shop no more...went into Mr Price and WOW...i was just blown away by the amount of all the latest Trends that dressed their rails...if you are into gypsy peasant styles, fair isle, tailored pants, sheer it's all there..so of course i had a fun time piling everything on my arm.

This is my outfit for the day and yepppp i really luvvv it..Colour me fashionable!

TODAYS LOOK

I know this is where i am and i accept where this is..only for now though. My day started off on a rosy tip but fork right now I've gone down into a slump. Not sure why for i had a good productive day at work( which is where i spend most of my time) delivered my monthly piece or contribution of Cape town Street fashion....everyone luvvvvved it...so why do i feel like someone stole my milk and gave it to the cat...hahahaha...stupid..but anyways as i try to lift my spirits maybe the best thing i can do right now is to find me some kind of "spirit"

I think when you are so used to waking up and knowing what to wear without anyone having any influence on how you look is easier to manage...now today was so different..i am part of a new Creative Trend Team and H.R just had to come with thee hottest photographer to take pics of us and emphasis on our brief was that we HAVE to look good but also stick to the look of the company...damn that was hard..spent the whole night pacing and laying my fabrics on the floor trying to create a look that would work..eventually i got so exhausted from stressing my wardrobe out i just chose what i thought would work...and yes BLACK is always safe...since when have i ever played safe..and

If i could have one wish come through today would just have to satisfy my craving for shopping. I have not shopped in a while, and my latest distress is the fact that clearly i cannot afford to shop...all i hear is budget budget budget...a word i have come to hate. What am i budgeting for, is that hapennin or am i just throwing this word in my life just to make me feel better about paying rent...and that's it!!!!!!

Ndiphi na kanti...things never used be like this..NEVER..back in the days i used to sell chocolates at school just so i could run to Mr Price Butterworth (where i was born) to buy those horrible lilac tights i used to love so much...i ran my own tuck shop and boy did i have it...ummancazo we ntloko( pomade) and the hottest Mr P item i HAD.....so where am i now..why am i wishing for the one thing i know i love more than anything...Colour me Fashionable and let me see this change in my life...give me back my retail slips..i didn't mind..i won't even waste time inside your changing rooms by taking up space for i know what i like and if it don't fit my sewing machine can sort that out....GIVE ME BACK MY SHOPPING BAGS!

 Oh my word..while here in Mzantsi we busy gearing up and getting all warmed up for winter...TOPSHOP on the other hand has just reeled me over with their High Summer range....ding dong..

It's a mixture of oriental prints and fringe benefits...colour clash which has been the biggest trend for Summer 10 and now trailing over into 11, it's still a big feature...for once i am so stoked to see Gypsy really don't mean knotted unwashed hair and walking bare feet...lol....sorry..but so love this range...would be great to actually take it and make it work your own way...check it out...would luvvvvvvvvvv to get my hands on this range...sigh!

It was just a week ago when i was sharing with a friend how Hot and so into this whole clean tattoo guy look...i thought i would visit one of our very own tattoo parlours in OBZ but am still yet to do so and feature it on my blog...


Was so exciting going through the May Zara S2011 looks...and yep, my hunch or rather yet lust was just proven so right...so from now i really should do what i feel and think of doing...after all, my role as Trend Assistant is to be able to foresee  trends and lifestyles before they come out...who ends up using it is just another thing all together.

I am all for colour but today i just loved everything about my size 14 altered dress with lurex fishnets ..into my  black..my shoes are soon to be my own favourate vintage love for i've had them for almost 3 years now...so don't tell me nothing  about brogues ;-)...coz i've been having it...yep..i stamp my own..Colour me Fashionable..may the love of fashion be with us all.
